In depth

Verdict

Vision Of Night has fallen just short of the mark when he has contested events at the highest grade, but he still retains plenty of ability and will be hard to beat here. He has his ideal conditions and should benefit from the Fallon drive when the challenges mount inside the final furlong. Indian Spark goes well here but can throw in the odd bad one so Misraah rates as the main threat from the older brigade. However, his temperament often gets the better of him in the preliminaries and any support for him should be judged on how he behaves on the way to the stalls. Just James may find it hard to come from off the pace here but he has been a revelation this term and fully deserves to take his chance. Marika is also going the right way and receives a handy 3lb from her male counterparts, but may find a few of these to be too tough.
