In depth

Verdict

GALILEE CHAPEL (NAP) boasts the only recent winning form on offer when successful over 1m2f at Redcar last month. He’s subsequently gone close over track and trip and should make another bold bid. Percy Verence attempts 1m4f for the first time having been beaten less than a length at Lingfield, despite finishing only fourth, while Bridey's Lettuce has slipped down the weights and finished closer in an amateurs’ race last month. The veteran Sherman McCoy is on a decent mark but is a rare winner nowadays.
