Since a pipe-opener at Ayr, CLAN LEGEND has run a couple of cracking races at Aintree and Ascot and this looks a slightly easier assignment for the top weight. Ascot De Bruyere was possibly flattered by his margin of victory over course and distance in November but a 7lb rise is not insurmountable. Pougne Bobbi is gradually slipping towards a decent mark and he may have needed his latest fourth at Musselburgh but Demi Sang’s losing run now stretches back to August 2019. Informateur is still unexposed over fences but he dropped away tamely at Carlisle 11 days ago so Seemorelights makes more appeal.
