Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Bamby's confidence may have been boosted by her selling win but this race is tougher and we will side with Film Festival ahead of Brewery Man. The selection was second last time out behind Bonnie Rock and that form may receive a boost when the latter runs in the first race of the day. Film Festival holds Monashee Grey and Topwell on that running and he looks sure to make a bold bid from the front again today. Brewery Man needs watching in the betting as his shrewd yard tend to find plenty of improvement in horses after some poor runs, whilst Well Disguised was very disappointing last time out and can be rated better than that effort although he does still have stamina to prove. Bamby won on her first start for Sue Smith and she should be respected returning from a break, whilst at a price Silver Steel and Pendle Forest are runners to keep an eye on in the betting. A very open contest in which we will tentatively side with Film Festival.
