In depth

Verdict

Debawtry won over 5f here back in February while Gigi's Beach scored over 7f at the track last month. Kolossus went close over today’s trip at Thirsk though was beaten by The Mackem Torpedo here last year while Oakenshield placed over course and distance without threatening. HAIL SEEZER has yet to race on the all-weather but returned to action with a neck defeat at Wetherby on his handicap debut. He gets the nod with plenty of scope for further progress.
