Verdict

Maiden hurdle winner Grand Soufle has been off the track for over a year while Atlantic Dancer won on faster ground at Kelso in April. It's A Love Thing also scored on good ground when successful at Sedgefield last month and has won on the Flat subsequently while Very Excellent returned to hurdling with a second at Cartmel. But it was heavy underfoot when VOCAL DUKE finished runner-up at the same track last month and may well take advantage of a slide down the weights.
