Verdict

Sitting Tennant has the best form of those to have raced previously having found one too good in each of his last two starts and he has to be respected on what will be his final outing in this grade but there are some interesting newcomers in the field and it may be worth siding with ECO STORY, who gets the vote over Black Apache. Don McCain has his string in really good form at present so his son of Indian Danehill, who should handle the testing ground has to be considered. Malcolm Jefferson's Quannapowitt did not progress from a promising debut outing when disappointing under similar conditions to today here last time, while Si Bien was well held at Wetherby first time up and is hard to recommend. A chance then is taken with Howard Johnson's Eco Story, who is bred to be useful being a son of Bob's Return out of a Roselier gelding, the ground should pose no problems and he looks worth siding with at likely odds.
