    Verdict

Asdaa won nicely at Chelmsford recently but could only manage third behind Northernpowerhouse when the latter scored over track and trip last month. FORTAMOUR (NAP) was beaten a couple of lengths in fourth on that occasion but re-opposes on more favourable terms with both of the above today and Ben Haslam’s charge is taken to turn the tables and come out best. Portledge placed over course and distance back in July and has his first outing since but That Is The Spirit should be sharper for last week’s comeback at Wolverhampton and has a shout off his current mark.
