MORAL ISSUE had been threatening to win a race before a very impressive victory over Violent Velocity at Beverley last week. She's been hit with an incredible 12lb rise but runs with a 6lb penalty so should gain a quick double. Skyfire battled on gamely to see off No Quarter at Ripon and should be in the firing-line once again while King Pin has had his last seven runs on the track, scoring in April and going very close in a claimer last time. Monel scored on soft ground at Ayr in July and produced another very good effort over 6f here last time.
