      Verdict

Sun Hill was well held behind Red Sun at Catterick earlier this month but ran better at Thirsk subsequently so cannot be ruled out, along with his Catterick conqueror, but preference is for Seifi who is taken to complete the hat-trick. The selection sprung a surprise when returning to the flat after a spell hurdling to take a handicap at Beverley and duly followed up in a banded stakes race at Musselburgh. Brian Ellison's gelding has a 6lb penalty to carry for that latest success today and is now 10lbs higher than when scoring at Beverley but is still well treated on his old form and there may be more improvement to come. Red Sun is an obvious threat on the evidence of his Catterick run but is 8lbs higher now, while Paradise Flight has flattered to deceive on more than one occasion and may not be one to place too much faith in. Spitting Image and Through The Rye are capable of playing a part on the pick of their form from attractive marks but Seifi is in form right now and can make it three from three.
