    Verdict

Upgrade will probably need some help from the handicapper before getting his head in front but The Blues Master looked as though his turn was near when a staying-on third at Chelmsford and he's only a pound higher here. Tonahutu has a good record on Polytrack and is back on the all-weather after contesting a Class 2 nursery at Newmarket – he makes more appeal than the fully-exposed Galahad. BEAUTIFUL ESCAPE is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Promising Run and two other winners so should be better than an opening mark of 73. She showed improvement in cheekpieces last time at Wolverhampton and the aids are in place again here – Josh Doyle's claim will also help her cause.
