A competitive race to open the card in which Mae Moss is taken to get the better of August Rose and Toulouse Express. The selection will benefit from the drop in trip after a disappointing effort last time out. He handles the ground and a reproduction of his effort at Ayr when he finished third behind Oscar The Boxer would make him hard to beat. August Rose rates the main danger as she was a good second behind Seymar Lad over this course and distance last time. This trip seems to suit her and she is certainly one for the shortlist. Toulouse Express finished second behind Beau Torero at Catterick last time which was an improved effort, but his form in Ireland is pretty moderate and for that reason we will oppose him. Moyne Pleasure would have claims on the back of his winning effort on soft ground at Sedgefield, but he has since disappointed. This is a tight race for punters to call and for the winner we will return to Mae Moss.
