Verdict

Richard Johnson has a couple of booked rides here today for Tom Lacey, starting with TRIOPAS in this. Off the mark over a similar trip in a conditionals’ race at Chepstow earlier this month, he can race off the same mark today. Bescot Springs is in the veteran stage now but he is still more than capable in this grade and looked to be running into form at Kelso. He probably holds Kings Eclipse on the form book. Chu Chu Percy is now visored after his second at Ayr and Vodka Red usually runs well here and will strip fitter for a recent fourth at Carlisle.
