In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to find much inspiration among this modest bunch but GO GEORGE GO has more scope than most and scored over track and trip last month. Alan Swinbank’s charge beat a subsequent winner and that looks the strongest form on offer. Ship Canal was third behind the selection last time and should go well again while Ali Bin Nayef finished runner-up over today’s trip at Kempton recently. Ryan The Giant was placed over 2m here recently and Tred Softly may be capable of better returning from a lay-off.
