REINFORCED continued his progress when scoring at Ayr last week, his second win of the year. Alice Thornton was back in third and Michael Dod’s charge is expected to confirm running and go close again. Dutch Dream won a maiden race at Hamilton in August but was beaten in handicaps before that, though Cool Strutter won over course and distance last month and is only 2lb higher. Poolstock finished runner-up at Ayr recently but it was soft ground and his earlier win at Thirsk remains his only success in 33 starts.
