        Verdict

        WATERSMEET returned from a short break in good form and went close at Chelmsford before winning over 1m6f in this grade at Wolverhampton. He scored over today’s trip at the latter track in September and can confirm latest running with Masterpaver, Barye and Royal Marskell. The latter has subsequently finished behind third-placed Natural Scenery at Lingfield and Josephine Gordon, who won on the Godolphin charge back in October, is back on board the latter today. Barye has been placed at Lingfield since finishing behind the selection but Winterlude has won off today’s mark at this level before and is not out of this.
