In depth

Verdict

Hannah Jacques is bred to be a staying chaser though the fact that she has progressed nicely in bumpers suggests she can go well on her hurdling debut. Aneyeforaneye has a similar profile and is another who can be expected to do better over jumps. Along Came Rosie landed a maiden hurdle over the C&D in November for which she is penalised and she failed to last out three miles at Fakenham on New Year's Day. Its Teescomponents, three times a winner over fences, hasn't run over hurdles for almost two years and may just need this but SOPHONIE is a nice prospect for Ferdy Murphy and gets the vote. The winner of a chase in France last March, she looked to be going well and have every chance when stepped up to this trip at Sedgefield in November but slipped on landing at the second last. Compensation awaits and she can go on to better things.
