Verdict

Always Best can land the opener at the expense of Domino Dancer and Heywood. The selection finally got a hold of things after two wayward performances when the penny dropped at Leicester last time out. He still looked a little green when winning but now with experience on his side he can follow up with yet another winning performance. Domino Dancer carries top weight after his victory at Carlisle last time out. He has been put in off a mark of eighty eight which could seem a little harsh. He could do no more than win last time and looks progressive but he could be up against some better handicapped horses here. Heywood has run well and kept on improving with every effort this season and won last time out at Lingfield. He looks well enough treated on his handicap debut and with the trainer in such good form any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Always Best.
