    Verdict

A winner at Wetherby in December, Aislabie was pulled-up last time but the remaining runners were all placed on their latest starts. NUTS WELL has found one too good over course and distance the last twice now but is worth another chance racing off the same mark today. Violoniste and Brave Spartacus finished second in lower grade handicaps on their respective latest starts with the former preferred while Lycidas and course regular Applaus were placed in novice events recently and the latter had won here before that.
