In depth

Verdict

OFF THE SCALE is taken to get the better of the in-form Exotic Guest in a handicap in which few make much appeal. Brian Ellison's three-year-old won over course and distance in June and was probably a bit unlucky next time when fourth at Doncaster. Ruth Carr's charge is a big danger, however, having twice run well off this mark at Ayr recently. An absence since May is a worry for supporters of track and trip winner Armelle but she's still preferred to stablemate Coiste Bodhar and On The Huh. Teetotal has each-way claims again but this looks on the sharp side for Southwell second Llewellyn.
