The veteran ROSQUERO made most and drew right away for a very easy victory on heavy going at Ayr, when Mcginty's Dream was beaten a long way. He was carrying a feather-weight and has an 8lb rise to overcome but it was a higher-grade handicap and a follow-up looks on the cards. Another old-timer, What A Dream, had been in poor form before reverting to hurdles at Ayr at landing a handicap but he hasn't won over fences for over two years. Orioninverness won a Hexham handicap in March and any rain would help his cause but the maiden Brown Trix has been hampered in his progress by poor jumping. Titian Boy completed a double in late 2016 then ran very well when runner-up here in March but his two recent runs have been poor.
