In depth

Verdict

Ryan Moore takes up the first of two rides for Sir Michael Stoute at the meeting and SHAREEF STAR (NAP) can enhance the Newmarket trainer’s impressive strike rate here. The latter was something of a disappointment at Doncaster in March but the yard is in much better form now and he gets the vote. Dommersen struggled upped in class last time but won in this grade at Chelmsford in January and Delph Crescent may figure with an apprentice taking 5lb off his back today. Regal Director had just the one start last year and has been gelded since while Archie Perkins ended last season with a decent effort at Redcar.
