Verdict

Alemaratiya made a modest debut over a mile at Kempton in October but this longer trip should bring improvement. However, the same can be said of PANDORO DE LAGO whose second over 7f at Redcar in August is the best piece of form on offer. She's a half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Sublimity, who was himself a smart performer on the Flat, and Richard Fahey's filly should come into her own over middle-distances this year starting here. Keith Reveley's duo have shown nothing so far and the newcomer Woolamaloo could prove a bigger threat.
