Verdict

Point-to-point winner Hester Flemen won a bumper at Carlisle in impressive fashion last month. She will prove popular on her hurdling bow but SYDDAN ROSE is just preferred. The latter found only one too good over timber at Kelso last time and that experience should stand her in good stead for this. Nosey Box is penalised for last May's victory at Hexham and was second in a handicap at Ayr yesterday. She may be a doubtful runner but Jenny's Melody ran well at Ayr in November and has place claims.
