Verdict

Crathorne can turn the tables on Royal Melbourne, with Dance To My Tune, Hope Sound and Millennium Hall others expected to make their presence felt. Crathorne and Royal Melbourne met at Catterick last week, and it was the latter that came out on top. There was only half a length between them though, and Crathorne did not help his cause by drifting right across the track. He meets Royal Melbourne on better terms, and with Tom Eaves claiming three-pounds, Martin Todhunter's five-year-old is taken to get the losses back. Dance To My Tune finds herself lumbered with topweight despite not having won since last August, and might just need a return to a mile and a half. Hope Sound was not that far behind the selection at Catterick so should again be there or thereabouts, and Mllennium Hall would be more of a threat on faster ground. Party Ploy and Bramantino look a shade high in the weights at present, and so we return to Crathorne as the answer.
