Verdict

PROSCHEMA won twice on the Flat and was thought good enough to run in the St Leger as a three-year-old. He’s only won one of his five hurdle starts but has been quite highly tried and, though made to work hard for victory here last month, should have too much speed for these. Newtown Boy won over track and trip on the same day and has been in good form in general this winter. He’s also penalised but should be thereabouts again and Tea Clipper looked a hurdler to follow in the autumn when winning a Grade 3 at Chepstow, though probably needs further. Nickolson is another useful hurdler worth a market check and course and distance winner Wise Eagle looks to be on an upward curve again with a similar comment applying to Look My Way.
