        Verdict

        Both Auspicion and Archipeligo won lower grade handicaps over track and trip on their latest starts. The latter has an 11lb hike in the weights to contend with today while Gerry The Glover attempts this longer trip for the first time having gone close over a mile at Beverley. But TESTA ROSSA missed out by only a nose in a much tougher contest at Ayr last week and he should go very close again with a similar effort. High Baroque has slipped down the weights and it’s only a matter of time before he takes advantage.
