In depth

Verdict

Paul Hanagan rides Goodwood runner-up MUTAWATHEB rather than Mutawakked though the latter showed ability when third at Sandown so the hint should be taken. Salouen also ran well on his introduction at Salisbury when beaten only a nose while Ryan Moore partners Monoshka, a brother to a winner in Italy. The Godolphin newcomer Good Craic is related to a Listed winner and Tis Marvellous is a half-brother to the useful Mythmaker among others. Curve Ball and Glorious Artist are other newcomers to keep an eye on for future reference.
