In depth

Verdict

This is a good race, and one in which we will side with Its A Dream ahead of mainly The Mick Weston and Compton Bolter. Punchestown bumper and Sandown hurdle winner Its A Dream has looked a decent prospect thus far in his career, and he can further endorse that view here. Easy Uttoxeter winner The Mick Weston should go well, while Compton Bolter, a Group 3 winner on the Flat, holds obvious claims and he was beaten a head by Cold Turkey when they met recently on the level when giving that horse 16 pounds. The latter, a multiple all-weather winner, won on his Plumpton hurdling debut but this is tougher. Rated in the 90s on the Flat, Vaughan also holds interest, and Quartier Latin's Plumpton-debut second marked him down as promising. Finally, Nikola is another that could be interesting if there is noticeable market support. However, for the selection, we return to Its A Dream.
