Verdict

Polisky looked sure to win at Ascot last Saturday when hitting in the front. But, not for the first time, found little under pressure and was collared on the line by the rallying Kris Cross. He has an extra quarter-mile to cover here and could be vulnerable again. This may be too far for Milarrow while Cnoc Seoda is woefully out of form but Susquehanna River won over 3m1f at Wetherby before finishing third at Aintree and Doubletoilntrouble was well backed on his reappearance at Leicester, though well beaten. TOP DANCER won over a marathon trip at Cheltenham in April and ran well enough on his comeback at Warwick to suggest he'll be adding to his tally this winter. Jamie Codd is a very significant jockey booking and he gets the vote.
