In depth

Verdict

A highly competitive contest with several leading contenders including Champion Lodge who comes here in excellent heart following a recent Newmarket handicap success off a 4lb lower mark. Jamie Toller's charge will relish the testing conditions and loks capable of winning again of his current mark so gets the TEAMtalk vote. There are plenty of dangers including Bestam who remains lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement while Eastern Breeze ran creditably in the Cambridgeshire last time and is another who should go close. Unshakable is a progressive type and is worth forgiving a recent poor effort at Ayr when suffering from colic but Zarin looks held by the selection and Port Moresby may find conditions too testing.
