In depth

Verdict

SHADEN (NAP) was well beaten in the Queen Mary at Ascot but made a winning start in handicaps last month when beating the re-opposing Sahreej by a cosy couple of lengths. Lady Cecil's filly can confirm superiority and go in again. Fashionable Spirit found life tough in a better handicap at Goodwood last time but was beaten only a head in this grade at York earlier and is preferred to Dream Dreamer and handicap debutant November. Rocking Rudolph may also be capable of better having struggled in Listed company last time.
