In depth

Formwatch

Golden Rose (IRE) Raised 14lbs for her Huntingdon win in December; then won a soft novice event at Fontwell before disappointing last time; holds Bin It on their Fontwell run; possibly not well handicapped and Tony McCoy has opted to ride Cresswell Native

Cresswell Native (IRE) Fairly lightly raced and Tony McCoy has opted to ride her today; yet to fully prove that she stays this far in this ground, but if she does, she has every chance

Soeur de Sentier Throws in the occasional sulky race but the pick of her form reads well; if at her best, she has to enter serious calculations here.

Bramble Fair (IRE) Mary Reveley's mare has risen 26lbs since winning at Kelso in November; the trainer does not have a great strike rate at this track but this tough mare will have no problems with the trip or going

Mrs Wallace Holds Golden Rose on their Folkestone run in December; she comes here relatively fresh and likes give in the ground.

Kentford Fern Comes here fresh and is lightly raced; won at Fontwell in Jan but then disappointed; going and trip should present no problem but she'll have too keep the progress coming

Meriel's Mistake (IRE) Is 9lbs worse off for having beaten Sister Superior one-and-a-half lengths at Huntingdon in Dec of last year; Velcro Girl is now 5lbs better off for having finished over 9 lengths behind her that day; she reportedly injured herself in her last race; hasn't progressed as seemed possible over hurdles

Miss Ellie Lightly raced and seems to be improving; on that basis, and given that the trip and ground should be OK for her, she has to be considered.

Chop N Change Pulled up in a race where Bin It finished third at Folkestone on Feb 20; overall, her form doesn't suggest she is an obvious choice to take this

Velcro Girl (IRE) Maybe didn't quite see out the three-mile trip last time; won a weak race the time before although holds Bin It on that form; lightly raced but has to improve on known form to feature here

Pharletta (IRE) Best effort has been over 2m4f on good ground; very lightly raced since Dec 1999 and needs to step up on form if collecting here

Jennypenney Closely weighted with Soeur de Sentier on their Haydock run in November but that was over two miles; she hasn't proven herself at this trip although she'll like the ground

Sister Superior (IRE) See Meriel's Mistake; hasn't caught the eye this year after a modicum of promise last time round

Bin It (IRE) See Golden Rose; lightly raced mare who will probably improve in time; has to improve quickly to feature today

Lady of The Lamp Won at Taunton in Feb but that was a modest event; she has been raised 11lbs for that and has more to do today; trip and ground should be OK for her

Gracie Grey Has a lot to find with Chop-N-Change on their Carlisle run in Feb; she also finished well behind Soeur de Sentier at Sandown last time;
