Verdict

Not surprisingly this generally goes to a jumps trainer and may do so again. Amanto won on the Flat in Germany and though his form over timber since joining Paul Nicholls has been disappointing he looks on a low enough mark back on the level. Dan Emmett scored over this trip at Thirsk last August though hasn't run since Hexham in April but The Ducking Stool is running well over shorter trips and has won over 1m6f so should have no problems staying. MEDBURN CUTLER (NAP) looks the one to be on as though his two victories over the trip at Chepstow in the summer were in lower grade handicaps he's run well in better class events than this over the past few weeks and doesn't look badly treated. Arcamante is just 1lb higher than his victory over the trip at Catterick in May and is another to consider.
