Verdict

This is not the strongest renewal of the Radley Stakes but it presents a good chance to Bibury Flyer, who gets our vote ahead of Brecon and Wedding Party. Brecon is well-regarded by connections and proved her liking for soft going when scoring at Salisbury on her debut, although the placed horses have been beaten since. However, Bibury Flyer's form is rock solid, having been fourth to Maids Causeway in the Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket last time, although she has to shoulder a three-pound penalty for a Listed win at The Curragh the time before that. Overall, though, her form stands out. Wedding Party is progressive and has won two from four now and is entitled to improve again. The others certainly need to improve on what they have so far shown to match the Rockfel run of the selection, which is Bibury Flyer.
