PIMPERNEL makes plenty of appeal having finished runner-up in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket a fortnight ago. That's comfortably the best form on offer here and her nearest rival in the ratings, Mary Fildes, finished four lengths behind her at HQ. The unexposed Ultrasonic could be the biggest threat as she won on her racecourse debut at Yarmouth last month, although the runner-up has let the form down since, while Fillionaire is another winning debutant with plenty of scope. It's hard to make a strong case for any of the remainder on today's terms with possibly Kempton winner Way Too Hot coming out best.
