    Verdict

JAWWAAL is by Bahamian Bounty and has shown plenty of speed in a couple of runs over 7f, including one here, so shouldn’t be fazed by dropping back a furlong. He looks the one to beat in the first division of this maiden ahead of Salisbury fourth Buffer Zone, who has plenty of scope but probably wouldn’t want any rain. Mr Top Hat and Jack Crow have both shown some ability while Orange Suit, a 90,000gns half-brother to St Leger winner Simple Verse, and Final Treat, closely related to smart milers Finsceal Beo and Frozen Power, are newcomers to consider.
