Verdict

Union De Chenet makes his handicap debut but has shown little so far. Lucky Vic's last run was in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle and he should find this easier while Tuscan Gold deserves a change of luck as he came up against a decent novice at Fontwell earlier this month. Irish import Supreme Bob has a chance at the weights on his first start for Lucy Jones while Wily Fox got back to winning ways at Market Rasen 10 days ago, though has a penalty to carry in this. MIDNIGHT PRAYER wasn't punished once his chance had gone in a hot-looking novice event at Exeter last time and an earlier win at Hereford has worked out well. Josh Newman is good value for his 5lb claim and Alan King's charge can recapture the winning thread here.
