Verdict

Venegazzu, Hefner and Cape Rainbow are all similar in failing to show much, if any, improvement on their second starts. It's too soon to write any of them off, but SIR BEDIVERE is given a chance to step up on last month's debut sixth over 7f at this track. A winner has already come out of the race so Brian Meehan's charge gets a tentative vote. Stablemates Captain Cat and Waterclock are newcomers to note with preference for the former, but fellow debutant Stencive cost 260,000gns and any strong support for the half-brother to Group 1 winner Joshua Tree could prove significant.
