In depth

Verdict

There may be more quantity than quality on show in this. Arthurian Fable was a useful maiden in middle-distance races on the Flat a couple of years ago but might need this and Salvatore is another with a lengthy absence to overcome. Pyrotechnic has shown promise at Ascot and Lingfield but HOME FREE, placed in a couple of bumpers, should make a hurdler so gets the nod even though Strutter is a similar type. Denburn won a bumper in May with Melton Mossy another to consider.
