Verdict

Calvados Spirit is the only course winner in the line-up though that was over 7f on fast going. EL HAYEM (NAP) made a very encouraging reappearance in the Spring Cup here and was heavily supported at Chester but missed the break and could never really recover, though didn't get the clearest of runs. He's never performed on ground with ease but there's no reason why he shouldn't be suited and he can go one better. Sinfonietta is 1-16 but has been placed in some very tough handicaps including the Spring Mile at Doncaster so he has to be on the short-list. Kyllachy Gala continues on a high mark after his winning form in Italy but Top Beak reappeared with a very strong run on ground quicker than he would have liked here last month and still has some scope.
