In depth

Verdict

Gallant Boy produced a couple of solid runs last year and with the stable hitting top form could be hard to beat on his reappearance. He shapes as though he will be suited by further in time but the ground will be in his favour and he gets the vote. Star Of Normandie was pulled out of a similar engagement earlier this week but would have place claims. However, a bigger threat could be Environmentalist, from a stable bang in form and who cost 220,000 Guineas as a yearling.
