In depth

Verdict

Nahaarr is in danger of becoming disappointing as he again found little when push came to shove in the Silver Wokingham at Royal Ascot. Silent Echo, Highland Dress, Recon Mission and DAZZLING DAN all ran in the big race itself with Simon Hodgson’s charge faring best in fifth. Highland Dress has since finished second at Newmarket but we’ll take Pam Sly’s four-year-old to turn that form on its head as he still looked short of match practice and he did beat July Cup winner Oxted last year off today’s mark.
