Richard Hannon's Libranno failed to score in the Prix Morny last time but earlier form when successful in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood gives him the beating of the William Haggas-trained The Paddyman, although there was only one-and-a-quarter lengths between the pair then and there should not be much to choose between the two again here. Jeremy Noseda's Formosina disappointed in the Superlative Stakes on his most recent start and now looks best watched in a race taken to go to CROWN PROSECUTOR. Brian Meehan's colt ran much better back over this distance, having seemingly failed to stay seven furlongs at Goodwood previously, when narrowly beaten by Approve in the Gimcrack with Temple Meads behind and held on that running.
