Verdict

The William Haggas-trained Suggestive was highly tried in a Group 2 race at Doncaster last week and this is more his level and, while the six-year-old has to be respected, preference is for Sabbeeh who gets the nod over stablemate Meshaheer. The selection looked a decent juvenile when with Michael Jarvis and has obviously had his problems but, if retaining any of his old ability, may be too classy for his rivals on what is his first venture for Godolphin. Frankie Dettori prefers the three-year-old to Meshaheer, who is a solid performer in this grade but may not be able to concede weight to Sabbeeh. The Barry Hills-trained Zonus gained an overdue handicap success when winning in decisive at Chester last month but this looks tougher and of more interest may be James Fanshawe's Azarole who has been given a break since his latest start and comes here fresher than most. Material Witness, from the in-form stable of Willie Muir, and Henry Candy's Rum Shot are others worthy of a mention but Sabbeeh looked potentially high class at times last year and is taken to make up for lost time.
