In depth

Formwatch

Majestic Bay (IRE) Took advantage of lenient mark to win over C&D latest and form has worked out well (runner-up was third in Listed event at Deauville subsequently); good claims despite being 5lb higher.

Bid For Fame (USA) Generally consistent this term but basically in handicapper's grip.

Prairie Falcon (IRE) Veteran who is back on same mark as when successful in useful York handicap in June; not without a squeak on best form.

Zibeline (IRE) Has been struggling to get his head in front this term but improved for step up in trip at Goodwood latest and should go well once again off 1lb higher mark.

Box Builder Twice disappointed since fair second in Haydock handicap in May; others preferred.

Balladeer (IRE) Ran respectably over longer trip in competitive Goodwood handicap latest and now 1lb lower; should go well.

Master George Out of form this term and needs more cut in the ground.

Lord Joshua (IRE) Decisive winner over 14f at Kempton in June (now 5lb higher) but flopped next time and not seen out since; best watched on return.

Legal Lunch (USA) On a winning mark but returns after absence and not the easiest to predict.

Establishment Closely matched with Bid For Fame on Ascot victory last month (now 4lb higher) but ran well below par on return visit latest; others preferred.
