Verdict

See The Storm benefited from a fine Kate Harrington ride at Ascot last time but is now up 11lb for his last two successes. The gelding remains respected but another chance is afforded to FARLOW. He produced a rather leaden effort last time in the Thirsk Summer Cup when well fancied, which came as something of a disappointment as his three previous starts had all indicated a nice prize was within his grasp. Richard Hughes is a good booking and hopefully he can bounce back here. Redvers has not shown much the last twice but could be a threat if recapturing some decent form while Foxtrot Romeo is another to note if forgiven a strangely lethargic effort last time. Pastoral Player is a law unto himself but will probably pop up when least expected.
