Verdict

HEAVENLY DAWN is a full sister to the yard's dual Group winner Heaven Sent and she's given the vote to get her career off to the perfect start ahead of Pink Symphony, Blast Furnace and Mujdeya. Sir Michael Stoute will be looking forward to running our selection as Heaven Sent was a favourite of the yard's, winning twice in Group Three company and running with credit at the top table. She won her first start as a three-year-old and the hope is Heavenly Dawn can follow in her footsteps by taking this. She wouldn't want the ground too soft but should cope providing the heavens don't open, so to speak, and she gets our marginal vote. Pink Symphony sets the standard having earned a rating of 87 in three starts as a juvenile. She will takes a big step up in trip and tackles softer ground that she's faced so far but both are viewed as positives for this daughter of Montjeu and a big run is expected. Blast Furnace represents last year's winning yard and she cost over half a million pounds so connections will be hoping for a bold effort, although there are some doubts in her pedigree about her stamina for this trip. Mujdeya is really nicely bred and will enjoy cut in the ground so with the yard having started well she's yet another for a rather poorly titled shortlist, as is Jeremy Noseda's Galileo filly Gakalina. Michael Bell does well with his fillies and Bakongo must therefore be considered whilst Mausin hails from a yard amongst the winners but needs to have come on plenty and High Ransom is worryingly tried in headgear. The market may prove the best guide in this race but without it we like to paper credentials of Heavenly Dawn and she gets our vote.
