      Verdict

PANDAR has been given a break since showing a dramatic improvement in form on his first two runs for Patrick Chamings. He's 16lb higher as a result of those two successes but the key to him seems to be 6f on good to firm ground which are the forecast conditions here. He'll be hard to beat if returning in the same vibrant form despite the assessor's attempt to shackle further progress. Pettochside is the likely beneficiary if Pandar fails to fire as he rarely runs a bad race and has been in consistently good heart on recent starts. Head Space unquestionably has the ability to get involved but the course and distance winner has his quirks to say the least - he'll be right there is things drop right for him, Heartsong, a good stable servant, suggested a return to form the last day and houses each-way claims.
