Verdict

There is not too much to choose on adjusted official ratings here between High Accolade, Dubai Success and Orange Touch, and of these we will side with Dubai Success. The Barry Hills-trained selection has already won at Group 3 level and has proven that he likes this track. His latest run, when stepped up to two miles, can probably be ignored and, as long as he is not inconvenienced by today's going, looks to hold leading claims in this contest. High Accolade has served connections well over the years, winning three times at Group level and being just touched off in the St Leger. Given the fact that he will handle the going and can run well fresh, he has to be seriously considered, although his stable has yet to hit form this season. Orange Touch looked progressive last season, winning at Listed level, and there is no reason to think he will not be at least as good this time around. Mazuna has been found wanting since winning at Group 3 level in September but, like just about all of the others, has to improve by six or seven pounds, at least, to trouble what we see as the principals if they run to near their best form. And of these, we will give the vote to Dubai Success.
